FLASH

• available flash ( pre-made tattoo designs) can be found under Tattoo Flash or on Instagram in the highlights!

• all flash can be claimed by going to Flash Tattoo or by messaging the shop directly on Instagram.

• one-off flash is only tattooed once, but repeatable flash can be tattooed an infinite number of times and will be featured in my future GWYG flash specials.

DEPOSITS

• a $50 deposit is needed to secure your appointment and to reserve any flash design–this deposit will count towards final price of your tattoo.

• all deposits are non-refundable
  (unless the cancellation is on my part and the appointment cannot be rescheduled) and expire after 6 months if no appointment is held.

• custom projects require an additional $50 drawing fee.
  (please read Custom Tattoos section for more information)

• deposits are collected through Square via link a provided when booking.

please give at least 24hrs notice if you need to reschedule. failure to do so will mean your original booking deposit is forfeited and you must submit a new deposit to reschedule.
(with proper notice, your deposit is valid for one reschedule)

PAYMENT

the remaining payment for your tattoo will be due on the day of your appointment and can be paid in cash or card. all card transactions will include a $5 service fee.

FLASH PRICING

NEW! - all 2024 flash have set prices! each design is priced based on a certain size range for arm/leg placements only—please reference flash sheet for prices. (if you would like a flash design larger/smaller or a different placement option, contact the shop for a price estimate)

please contact the shop for an estimate for all 2022/2023 flash designs. (most will range between $200 - $400)

if you like my tattoo flash, but are looking for something tailored just to you, fill out my Custom Tattoo form—this is required for all custom designs. once you submit, I will contact you within a few days to schedule your tattoo.

PRICING

my current “shop minimum” is $100—this ensures that my cost of materials, commute and drawing time is covered.

all custom designs are priced based on:

size + placement = time x $100/hr + $50 custom drawing fee

($100/hr for the first 4 hours, then price is reduced to $80/hr for all additional hours in a single session)

• the final cost your custom tattoo will depend heavily on the size, placement, and complexity of the design.

• when booking, the custom design fee is due along with the deposit. once I receive payment for both, I will begin designing your tattoo based on the information provided in your custom tattoo form—the more details you provide, the better!

please keep in mind that when drawing a custom tattoo, I will be drawing it in my style. I work primarily with black ink, but will add a pop of color if requested. if your idea would be better fulfilled by another artist, I may refer you.

ON THE BOOKS!

Once you have a date/time set for your tattoo, I will have a draft of your custom design ready for you to review prior to the day of your appointment.

• you will be able to review and request changes to your design up to 24 hours prior to the time of your appointment. after that, I may request an additional deposit (for rushed edits), or your appointment may have to be rescheduled.

• there is a three draft limit—if an additional change is requested for a design after three drafts have already been shared, then an additional $50 deposit will be required.

please keep in mind that I will not make design changes the day of your appointment! (this does not include placement or size, only the actual artwork)

making changes to your custom design on the day of your appointment and may result in your appointment being rescheduled.

SCHEDULING

hand poked tattoos take a while! please do not schedule anything close to your appointment time.

Black Possum Ink is currently located in downtown Ronceverte, West Virginia.

CANCELLATION POLICY

• please give at least 24 hours notice if you need to reschedule your tattoo appointment. failure to give adequate notice will result in an automatic forfeit of your deposit. with proper notice, you can reschedule your appointment with the same deposit one time before a new deposit will be required.

• in the event that I have to reschedule, your deposit is safe and you can still reschedule once before I request a new deposit.

• if you’re not feeling well days before your appointment and don’t think you'll improve, make sure to reschedule with enough notice.

Note: It is not advisable to get a tattoo while on antibiotics. Your body is already battling an infection, making you more susceptible to complications while healing your tattoo. Antibiotics can also interfere with the healing process of tattoos as they expel foreign antibodies, which includes tattoo pigment. Medical professionals recommend waiting at least one week after completing your antibiotic course before getting a tattoo. Please reschedule your appointment if you are on antibiotics or if it's less than a week after you finish taking them. Thank you!

ID REQUIRED (18+ only)

• do your best to get a good night’s rest the night before your appointment, avoid alcohol/drugs 24hrs before.

• be sure to hydrate and eat before you arrive at the shop (for longer sessions bring a snack and maybe a sugary drink)

• dress in/bring comfortable clothes that allow access to the tattoo placement area.

please let me know if you’re running late—arriving over 20-25 mins late could affect later appointments and could risk having to reschedule and lose your deposit.

ARMS/LEGS

these are the best!

TORSO/RIBS

a torso or rib placement will increase the price of your tattoo—these areas are more difficult and are a higher risk of blowout, and consequently take much more time to tattoo.

HAND/FINGER

will do only limited hand/finger designs (simpler is better here) and I may turn down ideas that I do not believe will be successful. please contact the shop for more information.

EAR/BEHIND EAR

these are good for smaller designs!

COLLAR BONE/CHEST

this area sometimes can take a little longer because of awkward angles, and so can be more expensive, but not always!

BACK/SHOULDER

again, can sometimes add a little time!
